I hope they will have many different and interesting personalities.

Yeah. I just hope they ain't ALL jerks. It'd also be nice if there was one girl.

They'll be nice throughout the entire episode, but once they reach their destination they start acting according to some weird, violent dragon code of conduct that scares Spike away. They all stop and tell him that their sorry, Spike accepts but he still realizes that he can't live the way other dragons do and heads home.

I think it'd be nice if there was a "You don't have to embrace your roots. Who you are NOW is what's important, not where you were born or who you were born to" moral

I hope group will be mix of various teenager personalities plus some dragon nature.

They could fight some other big monsters.

I hope they don't meet Pony prejudice on the road

They stumble across a group of dragon poacher ponies

Spike''s new friends will pull a Big Damn Heroes either during the finale, or sometime during season 3

One would assume... Spike has a sexual attraction towards females (wouldn't make much evolutionary sense to have that unless his species had girls too) and there are dragon eggs

There are no female dragons. When it is their time to die, they wander off into the forest by themselves, and a much younger reincarnation comes out.

Alternately, female dragons look exactly the same as males: dragon courtship consists in politely inquiring about the other's gender. But recently female dragons found out about tertiary sexual characteristics, and Dragon society is undergoing something of an upheaval.

I hope mane factor do recognize dragon gender will shape not Tertiary Sexual Characteristics. Just like with ponies.

I'm guessing that there will be some sort of height/thickness differences, and possibly different 'hair' styles.

For size difference they should make females bigger.

Or maybe the females will LOOK curvier (I don't mean just curves, I mean their design in general)

I think it'd be a wasted opportunity if there were no girl dragons.
