Although, Mio does bring up an interesting thing about the princesses being transcendant. I don't think that personally. They're just powerful and long lived is all. Nothing godly about them

Okay, time to derail this awkward topic and resurrect an old one. I just read about 15 pages, and when you guys were talking about black ponies, I thought I remembered seeing one somewhere. After a bit of searching, I found it.

In The Last Roundup, at 3:46, there is a black unicorn stallion with a spiky white mane on the left side of the crowd. So, there, they do exist.

He doesn't seem to be completely black, just a little darker then the Unicorn Royal Guards. I personally think a black colored pony would look weird.

Well of course he can't be completely black. Otherwise he would just be a void in the screen. I'd still say that color qualifies as black, though.

Understandable. Rare colors is a pretty big Mary Sue trait.

Feels bad that I have a black pony OC...

Then again, he just PAINTED himself black because he thought it looked better than being completely devoid of colour (though I guess that could be seen as worse by some people)

Really, the quality of the "Molestia" stuff typically depends on each individual instance. Sometimes it's interesting, sometimes it isn't.

As far as Celestia's transcendence goes, I do think that she's sort of a level above everyone else, but I don't think she's made of Incorruptible Pure Pureness either. She's just been around long enough that she has the experience necessary to know her own flaws and work around them.

I doubt that as well. Still, I generally think that she views the world very differently then your average pony, and definitely does not have the same concerns.

Yeah, Celestia and Luna's more transcendent properties aren't anything inherent to them being an Alicorn, but rather a result of them having lived for so long and seen/experienced so much. But doesn't mean they aren't still ponies and have the same feelings and needs as any other pony, they've just gotten to the point they can identify and control them better then any other pony could hope for.
