Slightly rushed because I came within minutes of the deadline (stupid DST...), but I finally got around to drawing Rarity again and did a goofy movie poster parody with her.

I imagine most folks here are pretty much done. I'm honestly only up because I have homework to do... speaking of! If anyone is curious about all that game hootinany I was going on about this afternoon, I've finished the Feature Brief for it! Which... at 12 pages may be a bit of a misnomer. I may want to not reiterate every design element for each section. Ah well, I'll ask the teacher about it before I need to hand it in tomorrow.

Anyways, yeah. It's there for the curious to look at, and I'd appreciate if anyone has any comments. I realize it's a bit of an imposing beast, but still.

@Kegi: longdoc is long. Maybe I'm a bit of an amateur, but I find my own design note ideal more full of diagrams than bulleted points.

Well, this is a feature brief, not a full document. It's basically just a list of, "Okay, what's gonna be in this thing?". It's breaking a design down into it's componant pieces so a lead designer can look at it and decide whether it makes it in or not. Once it gets green lit, then I would make a design document. It goes into more detail, and includes diagrams, screenshot mockups, step-by-step processes, etc. That's the stuff you'd expect to see. Taking each of those broken-down elements and describing them. So yeah... if this is long, imagine the size of that. Design bibles tend to be volumes long.

There... actually are. The healer/buffer is the most important unit here. They're basically godly. First buff you learn is a cleansing spell, first heal you learn is a global heal. But yes, there are healing and sap skills, but they're absurdly high-tier. In theory.

Yeah. The healer is important. The intention is for it to tighten up the gameplay and make it more intense and strategic, because I always found TBC to be sort of boring, unless the window dressing is really good.

Eh, this is about when I normally go to bed anyways. I'm just getting the last things I need for school tomorrow ready - a bit of footage for my demo reel, plus transferring music to take to the school, etc. etc. I don't have class until 6:30 PM tomorrow, so I don't have to get up any time even approaching early. I'll probably be up at noonish.
