@Applelight, Well that's easy enough, on the behalf of the thread's "Twilight Sparkle is best Pony Triumvirate" I would like to say I look forward to Twilight's interactions with her theoretical brother and I hope he's a pretty sweet guy.

@Drenius: Eh, compare him to Blueblood in his appearances. Blueblood always had that air of, "I am high class". Shining Armour looks much closer to Fancy Pants in terms of demeanor, namely "I would enjoy talking to you. I'm certain you're interesting". He just looks much warmer than a pony like Blueblood. For everything else this show tends to paint it's antagonists fairly clearly, I doubt they'd give him that look and pull it away at the last minute.

Ahem. There is a knight in Shining Armour. That is all.

Anybody can become a knight. All you have to do is render services to the Crown. These days, famous entertainers with long careers are knighted...basically, it means the British Monarch likes you and wants to give you a badge and a title.
