I liked this weekend's episode, including Iron Will.

It's funny because somebody on another forum told me a while ago that I should take an assertiveness course when I was having an issue with a coworker who had a crush on me. It was weird to see it in an MLP episode.

Way the hell and far back, but eh.

Tidus was a bit of a Deus ex Machina, I'll admit. I tried to at least foreshadow him (It's funny that to a whole lot of people picked up on it, and thought he was literally the king's son - given the way I talked about him in the story I almost have to wonder if he wouldn't have been more interesting then, since I'd basically described him as insanely powerful but apathetic to the point of lethargy), but the fact that he did just show up and solve the problem was a bit of a bitch. A good suggestion I had gotten was that he would have simply been the tipping point, after the king had pretty much already given in... which probably would have been a better idea.

Still, the fact that most people point to him as the only failing of the fic is pretty good, I think. Inaccurate, but pretty good.

@Emma: Welcome! We're only insane part of the time. On rare occasions we actually approach normalcy.
