Hey, so Eurobeat Brony decided to put all his work on bandcamp.

You can find it here.

This means that we have an official track order (if you care about that stuff), and he can now just add to that instead of posting videos on youtube. Oh, and you can also check out his non-pony endeavors.

Fun times.

I like his remixes. In fact, I'm making a remix of my own! It's of the oompah music Pinkie Pie plays in "Swarm of the Century". All I need is some good HD video of that episode so I can synch the music with the video.

I liked that story. Quite moving, well-written and it dealt with things more in-depth like talking about how that event impacted Ponyvilles' economy. Good find.

I think Equestria daily has some of the episodes for HD download...not sure if that one is full 1080, but there should be a pretty good quality download regardless.

So i'm browsing the penny arcade forums, and apparently Lauren Faust said on her deviantART that Luna will NOT in fact be in the season finale.

To be exact:

I never said end of the season (I said you're in for a long wait) and have been feeling awful that people misunderstood what I said. I know lots of people will be disappointed to hear this, but she won't be around until season 2.

Proof.

I wonder if the other writers have a 'style' joke, like the anvils?

Writer specific I don't know, but I am getting a sense of how Rainbow got her flight school nickname. Though it could just as easily be my mind exaggerating just how frequently she actually flies into things.

I hope if this writer continues to do episodes, he continues to use anvils. They're very good gags. He also seems very fond of slapstick in general.

And holy crap is this episode divisive.

I will say this I am a fan of this show. And I'm proud of it as well, also Pinkie Pie almost went out of the Iris Out.

People don't like Over a Barrel.

Many of those same people didn't like Feeling Pinkie Keen.

Those people believe that disliking those two episode means the person who wrote them can't write and should be fired.

The fuck? People don't an ep and that means the writer of it should be fired? People have strange and wild expectations this show sometimes....

[up] you saying people on the internet are unreasonable? Nooooooo!

Anyway, it was most certainly a weaker episode. It had really funny moment: Everything on board the train is pure gold. The tour of the town too. But I think it tried to much. Most of the mane cast are extras (Heck, the story would likely have turned out the same had none of them been there). The plot takes forever to get going (So we got train segment, spike kidnapping rescue plot, then finally the buffaloes and appeloosan meet (With a musical number to cut off even more time). On a 20 min episode, only about 10 of those are dedicated to the main plot, and that plot self-resolves itself.

Meh. This was favorite episode so far. In the end, that's really all that matters to me.

Yeah. I mean, there were things I didn't like about Feeling Pinkie Keen, and I can certainly understand people placing it low on the list of rankings, but this episode, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it, after seeing people on Ponychan act like it was the worst episode in the entire series.

Yeah, it is odd how the mane cast doesn't really do anything of value, but I thought that the comedy (which is one of the reasons I like the show) was pure gold.

Also, Braeburn was cool.

It was an awesome episode, and deserves respect. Pinkie got a song, Fluttershy was accused of being a tree, Applejack caressed a tree; what's not to love?

Yeah throwing my lot in with those who enjoyed Over a Barrel and Pinkie Keen.

Great humour, also each episode doesn't really need to continuous focus on the same plot or have all the mane cast in the spotlight the whole time for an episode to be great.

But I'm a Pinkie Pie fanpony so any episode that has a lot of her I prefer.

I actually skipped Pinkie Pie's song . it was grating. I liked the rest though, particularly the fluttershy moments.
