Yes, but just because other western cartoons can get away with Complete Monsters, it doesn't mean that they all can. Especially not ones that air on a network that censors the word "loser." Even ignoring that it goes completely against the theme of the show, any writer who tried to introduce one anyway would be stopped by the producer, Hasbro, the Hub, or all three.

@ben10fan, last page: They Changed It, Now It Sucks is generally regarded as a negative trope, but there are occasions where it's a valid reaction. Entirely aside from the issue of tone, which I feel we've been over fairly well, the girls don't have any means of dealing with a Complete Monster. The Elements of Harmony can't redeem something that's by definition irredeemable, and only Dash and Applejack could be considered fighters by any stretch of the imagination. Celestia and the Royal Guard would have to deal with the villain.

^The eternal question. The answer: I doubt Trixie cares.

And has Twilight has taught us, if your love is true, it doesn't matter how creepy and inherently wrong the relationship is.

Applejack, without a doubt. Pinkie only wanted to party (she can do that anywhere), Rarity was blinded by her fantasy, Rainbow already got to meet the Wonderbolts (and impressive flying doesn't belong at an event like that), and Fluttershy has plenty of animals to love already.

Applejack was trying to improve her business and replace her grandmother's hip.

at least one of the points made against my argument is untrue, the Hub does allow complete monsters as there are THREE in Transformers Prime(Megatron, Starscream and Airacnede).

and I bet if really necessary, the Elements of Harmony can be used to destroy. technically, they where used to destroy Luna's Nightmare Moon persona.

^^^If she were hawking things like wooden goods or something, then yes, it'd be a little crass. But I can't see anything wrong with wanting to sell good food at a fair price. =)

^^The Elements of Harmony were used to redeem, not destroy. We can mince verbs, yes, but that was definitely more about freeing Luna from her own hatred than anything else.

She'd have been better off asking Twilight to ask Celestia to buy some apple products from her.

That'd have been respectful.

Also, Transformers Prime is a different show than MLP:FIM. Just like the toys are substantially different.
