Here's something to talk about. I just watched the latest Friendship Is Witchcraft episode. It's not the best one but it does have funny moments. I especially like how Sweetie falls down the stairs like a slinky.

I know Io is teamed with a lvl 9 Kikimora and lvl 7 Knocker; Daichi is teamed with a lvl 6 Kobold and lvl 6 Poltergeist; Joe is teamed with a lvl 8 Hare of Inaba and lvl 5 Obariyon; the MC is teamed with a lvl 9 Agathion and a lvl 7 Obariyon. I just got the game today, so I'm not particularly far.

Both of those are great

It's a pretty fun deconstruction of 'Mon games. The story was written by the same guy who wrote Bokurano so it's a lot darker than most other similar games. It starts with the MC close to death and entering a faustian bargain to continue living.

How do you think ginger feels about being a knocker?

@Drenius I still remember seeing the Mon page. It does say that is a common thought, but SMT started the Mon genre, but Pokemon was the Trope Codifier. At any rate, from what I've seen, the battle system is similar to Digimon World Dawn, which I have played.

And Daichi seems to love those German demons.

Pretty much. If it weren't for the internet exploding with ponies, that would still be what comes to mind when I think of MLP. The stigma of bad past entries in a franchise is a difficult thing to break.
