I think I read somewhere that Gryphons hate horses... thats why a Hippogryph was so amusing.

On a side note, this week's topic in my class is death and dying and I have to read and listen to all sorts of depressing stuff. I get to write about it too.

Some cultures have interesting death rituals, like things they have to do after the person dies to keep them from coming back to haunt them.

Since Equestria is so magical do you think ponies have to go to lengths to make sure they dont get haunted? Pagetopper: This pic made me lol

Yeah gryphons ate horses. So getting them to mate was seen as redicolusly difficult. An impossible task.

Also, a Chimera came to represent an extremely unlikely story.

Now I'm reminded of the Xanth series, where every mythological hybrid creature ever exists because there are numerous Love Potion springs throughout the land, and Xanth's ambient magic does away with any biological incompatibility. That series was weird, but it was cool for the first few books. Then it turned into a Hurricane of Puns.

When I cant sleep I have an alcoholic beverage of some sort and a nice hot bath. I usually take a book in there and read until I get groggy then I towel off and crawl into bed.

Its the simple things really...
