My brother had a Sliver deck. Once that thing got rolling it was a well oiled engine of destruction! More often than not though, I felt that slivers were pretty cheap since the majority of them cost very little to play yet they all had incredible synergy with each other. Once the Sliver Queen or Sliver overlord came down, things were even more impossible.

RD: Mono-red Direct damage plenty of Lightning bolts, Forks, and Fireballs

Rarity: Mono-blue Control/Denial.

Twilight: Probably a mix to maximize her strateies, a bit of card removal and control I suppose.

AJ: Green-Red with plenty of beefy creatures

'Shy: White-Green Weenie/Mana Acceleration with a few heavy hitters

Pinkie: I have no clue.

Welp, I went out and bought The Friendship Express! It was hilarious when I went up to the checkout to buy the DVD, the cashier said "Is this for you?" and I, without hesitation, explained that, yes, it was and that it's much better than you'd think at first glance. !

I also got Caddyshack for $5. "Hey everybody! We're all getting laid!"

My favorite memories of playing Magic is of huge games with ~10 people playing at once. The games take about 3 hours to complete, but they are so amazing. Not only do you get strategy like a normal game, but you also get politics and trolling. And boy was there some epic trolling.

In one game, a friend decided to open up an 11 person game by playing a plains, Lotus Petal, then Shahrazad. That became the longest game known to man.

So my copy of Friendship Express has some audio lag and it kicks in right when Pinkie Pie throws her surprise party!

I used to play MTG a lot, but I haven't in a while. I tried to get back into it a bit about a year and a bit ago, but I disagreed with some of Wizards' more inane rule changes, which, combined with removal being so powerful, killed the fun again pretty quickly for me. I had a Sliver deck, myself, although I wasn't actively trying to get the more expensive Slivers, so it was a pretty meh deck. Aside from that, I had 4 decks that were tied for my favourite:

• Legendary deck - The concept behind this was more rule of cool, but I still managed optimize it into being usable against most serious (but non-tourny) decks. It basically became a green deck with multi colour creatures of a mix of all 5 colours that relied heavily on delay and land fetch tactics.
• Angel deck - I expected this to be kind of sluggish like my Legendary deck (a very small amount of land fetch here in ye olde broken Land Tax, but some lower cost creatures were involved), but it was actually surprisingly sustainable. Probably due to the large amount of protection from X spells involved.
• Pestilence deck - Cemetary Gates for self pro-black, nuke the field with Pestilence. I controlled the field at the cost of nuking myself. Although that could end up changing if the Urza's Armor came out (-1 damage from all sources and since Pestilence dealt damage 1 at a time...).
• Wizard deck - A mishmash of older and newer wizards, bounces, counterspells and renewable card drawing. People got really frustrated playing against this deck, so I ended up benching it.

Er, wow, that was a lot of off-topic. Uh, so for on topic: Parasprites as a card would totally use the Devour mechanic. >.>

There are several errors that people have noted, and you can get a replacement from the company that made the DVDs. You can get some info on that here;
