Hmm.. I've written two new posts for the tumblr but need to draw concept arts still.

But yeah, I was just trying to figure out a way that's obvious for a pegasus in particular to challenge a gentlecolt in this manner.

A little tired right now but wouldn't hurt to start pencilling them.

I don't get why people would hate an antagonist because they do bad things. If they didn't do that, they wouldn't be antagonists, would they? "Good Character" ≠ "Good Person".

I mostly don't care about Gilda because I just didn't find her that interesting. I think the main problem is that she was too reactive rather than active; she only really did stuff in response to Pinkie. If she had actively tried to get rid of Pinkie by initiating her own conflict, it would have been more interesting.

@Ginger: For me at least, it has nothing to do with how bad they were; Discord is way worse than Gilda, but he was also a lot more interesting.

If you're going to do something evil, do it so over the top rediculous that nobody will believe your victim when they tattle. Or, modified for audience reaction, If you're going to have a villian do something evil, have them do it so over the top rediculous that the audience is too busy being entertained to remember that it would be horribly traumatic.

I suppose that makes sense, but as I have stated before I don't like Discord as a villain (or at the very least how he was utilized).
