A few didn't, but even without having a letter to spell it out, they still made there point clear, while keeping many layers of meaning.

well that still HAD a morale, you can always count on your freins, and Quality beats Quantity. it's just AJ already knew these.

I'm sure if we find one, somebody will start complaining. Just the same as we can't find any universally hated episodes. There's always somebody who likes it.

"No Letter" isn't the same as "No Moral" though. The Crusaders still made that big speech about how its not right to force people to ship, after all.

A complaint = bitching and moaning about the episode.

Sure someone has some criticism of every episode, but there are plenty where it's nothing more then a Meh, this could have been different. really if you analyze it hard enough you could find something wrong with anything, point is there are plenty, hell almost all, episodes where almost everyone agrees the Good parts far exceed and negative things they can find.

The only one I can think of is the first two episodes, other than people saying "It's not as good as the rest of the series" but if you look at the fandom and how people complain about every single episode except the first two you'd think that they were the best.

I mean, pt 2 of the pilot is one of my favorites, but...

EDIT: By complaining I mean the type of stuff you see on the Dethroning Moment of Suck page.

@Blue I'd be fine with dropping the morals if that wouldn't lead to a sharp rise in the mane cast being Karma Houdini assholes

The usual. When I first discovered the show it was unique and different, and my private little thing, but its simultaneously become a pop-culture phenomenon and also seems to have lost all the things I used to think were so good about it—namely the complete insanity and juxtaposition of classic cartoon cliches with extreme twists. It's most summarized by "A Friend in Deed" which, I've said before, felt like it could easily have been any other girlie cartoon and didn't really have that edge of insanity that always made Ponies great.

Then you'd be fine with dropping the morals, then. Losing them would not imply everyone acting like a jerk.

Oh man, the last episode I remember seeing was.... it been months. *looks it up*

I'm fine with Karma Houdinis in shows like House, which are highly cynical. but not this. Not in the show I come to when I want some sweet, sweet idealism
