I like the point and click idea. Otherwise you'd have to invoke
Gameplay and Story Segregation.

Well yes, keyword 'terrible'.
Fate Of Atlantis on the other hand was a great game.
But yeah, each room has to be drawn full screen size and those game tend to get a lot of rooms. Rather troublesome, I'd say. I wonder if there could be a way to make a board game style strategy game..
I thought of cheating with the wings by making wings only glide or double jump but eh, that wouldn't go with the pegasus part of things.

What's the worst that could happen anyways?
Woohoo, page 4321. And limited flight isn't going to cut it, since she's a RD expy. Though I guess it is possible to limit the flight by just having all the levels take place indoors.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
But if you place all the levels indoors you have to skip most of the story and just make them happen through either a completely different gameplay or cutscenes. Latter of which is just lazy and won't let the player in at all.
But it could work combined with the board game style idea I had earlier.

@Bad Lucky because they get it on a Friday, and I can only play video games on the weekends or during holidays.
But anyways, this just now started bugging me...
On Blueblood's coat, is he just wearing the collar and stuff, instead of a full dress jacket or whatever? O_o
Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.
Clever level and trap design can limit flight quite a bit, and it can be implemented well into a Metroidvania clone. Use a stamina gauge to limit flight, which will be rendered infinite before the adventure ends.
The thing about flight is that it changes the entire gameplay for a platformer. You can no longer do moving platform jumping or disappearing blocks type of things. Heck, even falling down the screen doesn't happen anymore. You have to make them work more like caves where the directions of up and down don't really matter except for any parts where you have to stand around. And you really can't do anything with outdoor areas.
This is why I'd prefer a point and click adventure. You can easily add action bits to those too if you want. A chase scene for one would be no problem at all.

How to make an interesting Daring Do game while accounting for her ability to fly
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
Treat it like Kirby's ability to fly except in cutscenes?
Gay, Autistic, Nerd, Gamer, Gleek, Brony, Writer, Fan, Master Of The Ever Changing Avatar, Mad Man.
I am in fact awesome.
Super Metroid and some of the later Castlevanias have implemented effective pseudo-flight mechanics without breaking the game. Level design and puzzle mechanics are easily useable alongside low ceilings to limit Daring's option of cheesing traps with flight.
Put traps on the ceilings and background as well?
Tealove is best pony.
Pony Fanon Index
external levels with full 3D exploration, and internal levels with tight corridors that make flying impractical?

We need a new internet rule for ponies, Like Rule 34, except replace ponies for porn. If it exists it has been ponified, This fandom is like the MTE for defictionalization anything even mentioned in the show gets made real.

Touhou has Rule maru-kyuu. Ponies have Rule p-34?
Hmmm... currently writing a comparison essay of the two Wicker man movies for my Production Contexts class. I'm trying desperately to come up with something positive to say about the remake
I still REALLY want a Wicker Man parody on this show
