Gr....I used the wrong name space, I meant Once Upon A Time. It's kind of hard to describe without spoiling anything. But what I can say is that it has AMAZING villains.

@ Red
It's not, don't worry.
It has more to do with the attitude to the world of ponies as a whole under Celestia and the nature of the Order VS Freedom battle which I wrote a nine page paper on after reading Ayn Rand's Anthem.
@ Blue
It doesn't don't worry :D

@Mage: ...Are you an Objectivist?
Can you think inside the chimney?

I only know of Ayn Rand by her reputation.
Godspeed Bluespade, Godspeed.

@Blue, No, Then my problem becomes their personality. Villain Protagonists act like... villains.
Yet they're the character we need to follow.
There's just something about the fact that we're FOLLOWING a villain. That he's the character giving us the overall perspective on the world
Either the villain protagonist wins. (I hate it when villains win)
Or they lose (so they've ultimately failed to overcome adversity)

Hehe....I am thankful The Fountainhead wasn't on our required reading list, I couldn't have managed to stomach having reading it again.
@ Red
God no!

In all seriousness I'm very happy I read Atlas Shrugged. It forced me to do a lot of good thinking in order to refute all of her ideals.
That makes some sense. Mystery solved!

You now picture some rich, mad genius pony starting an under-sea city-lab to escape the control of the Princesses.

To be fair I respect that Ayn Rand's ideals are grounded in very good reasoning and logic, the problem is that takes it to an extreme point and ignores large chunks of reality. For about a few mounts I was Objectivitst.

If the show/film doesn't have any especially pronounced character roles then my rules are a lot more lax (Hence why I love House for doing things easily despite being the main charater)
