Also, Apple Bloom's subtitles taking up half the screen while she was talking fast is definitely the funniest part of all that to me.

@mio In the latest issue of National Geographic, they mentioned various ways of showing laughter online. "Mdr" is French for died of laughter, Spanish is "jajaja" (pronounced "ha ha ha"), Dari is "mkm" ("I am laughing"), Malaysia is ha3 (ha ha ha), Swedish is "asg" ("roars of laughter"), Danish is "g" ("laughter"), and Korean is "hhh" (ha ha ha).

@Perpetual: They kinda do, but it's played a bit differently. The dividing line is more along status and class rather than popularity. The "Alpha Bitch as head of the Popular Girls and also a cheerleader" setup isn't really there.

@Lurker, from what I've seen the pretty rich girl characters tend to be idolized r called princess or queen of the school with no irony, bitterness, or resentment attached. The character archetype seems nicer and more idolized than here.

@Apple I think it's more of a flying technique than a natural skill, like walking on clouds. You probably just have to be able to fly quickly and precisely.
