I want an ep where the town convinces Twilight to run for Mayor because they all think she'll do a better job.

Then Twi goes all Lesson Zero because of all the responsibility and is unable to micro-manage an entire town for a prolonged period of time (especially because she was constantly trying to change everything)

The mane 6 then find a depressed Mayor Mare and help stage it so that everyone falls in love with her again and elect her back.

I'm imagining a law where a Mayor isn't legally allowed to resign. She has to be voted out

Hmmm, my results have changed a bit from last time I tried this. In the past, I think over two tries, I was Rarity and then barely Applejack (I was pretty close to being a little of everypony). This time it's Applejack hooves down, although Twi and Flutters both tie for second, with Pinkie just barely trailing them. Rarity and Dashie have apparently mostly dropped off the radar. I'm still not convinced whatever revisions they did is enough to make this a good test.

I'm pretty much a split between Twilight and Fluttershy, with some Rarity on the side

@Ginger, that would be nice and kinda interesting and if the issue is Twilight micro managing, good moral there, just cause your in charge of a group doesn't mean you have to control every detail, trust your friends to do there jobs right on there own.

might even help Twi understand Celestia better.

I know it's not, it's just funny to see Rainbow Dash referred to as "Rainbow" on this forum since I sometimes start out thinking it's referring to me and then realize who it's actually talking about, especially since she's pretty much my complete opposite.

@seraph You're moral is more show-friendly, but I was thinking that Twi would get into office by making promises she couldn't realistically keep on a town-wide level. Mayor Mare seems ambitionless and boring but that's only because she's doing what works for ponyville.

I guess I was wrong about Rainbow Dash being my opposite, Rarity came out as my opposite here. I do share a few superficial similarities to Rainbow Dash, since I LOVE rainbows and have ALWAYS wanted to be able to fly. She's also pretty bluntly honest, like me. Rarity, on the other hand...the one thing we have in common is liking the color purple.

I don't blame Mayor Mare for going on about the money for one second.

She NEEDED money to fix that place, and if not from AJ, then she'd need to start cutting into people's salaries by upping taxes.

AJ had already promised the Mayor the money, I can't blame her for making sure that fact remained clear, given how important it was.

... taxes probably went up after AJ came back empty hooved

If so then there'd be no reason to even THINK about repairing town hall, the mayor would have started repairs as soon as they became evident.

The repair budget was probably used up fixing the damage around Ponyville after Spike fucked it up
