Yes, I could never hit my dogs. Reinforces aggressive behavior, and then someone gets bit and they get put to sleep.

I like animals well enough. Apart from spoiled dogs, anyway.

I don't mind RD's behavior in May The Best Pet Win. Well, apart from the fact that the pets appear to be sapient, but even then they seem to be okay with the whole thing. Because they are okay with the whole thing and therefore willingly competing. She used to bug me, but she's okay now.

I don't like dogs at all, really. Some breeds are cute, but I don't want to own one, and the people who insist that breeds like Rottweilers and Dobermans are really just sweetie pies and would never hurt anyone are, in my opinion, disgustingly irresponsible.

I have a sissy jack russel.

I still wanna know where the mane cast got their pets.

I bet that would make for a nice episode actually. Kinda like Cutie mark chronicles, only it's about how they came to own their respective animals

Can't say I like dogs either, none of my family really does, because my Dad complains about them crapping on his lawn. My brother prefers cats though.

@ Ginger: My theories are that; Winona is a family pet, Angel was the first animal Fluttershy ever looked after, Gummy was Pinkie's birthday present and I don't know about Opal.

I had a Cairn Terrier for 14 years. He may have been tiny, but he was pretty badass and terribly sweet. He was smart as a whip too. I also had a cat for 16 years.

I've basically got a zoo at my house. 40-something goats, a horse, a donkey, a Great Dane, two Shetland Sheepdogs, two Golden Retrievers, a Husky, and two cats.
