@Ginger: Serene Grace is an ability that improves the chance of attacks to trigger their special effects (Ice Beam freezes more often, Metal Claw raises Attack more often, that sort of thing). The fun part is trolling your opponent with added effects galore, crippling their team with status effects aplenty from your moves of choice

@ginger Pokemon with Serene Grace have a greater chance of inflicting secondary effects and Torchic is a chicken-pokemon that evloves into this.

Don't forget that Twilight should have a Noctowl.

Fun fact: In one playthrough of Silver, I used a Hoothoot/Noctowl as my main pokemon, completely ignoring the starters and everything else.

Hadn't played Pokemon in a while, last game I played was Platinum. Few of the games that I did play, I kept catching female Machops that I raised into.....female Machamps.

I think RD would like flying and fighting types.
