Maybe there's a community of Dragons out there who stayed small by controlling their instincts... or Spike inspires such a community to form by telling the others how great it is to have Ponies as friends instead of them being afraid.

I was catching up in the thread. Applelight and The Freeman make my head hurt. I was actually slapping my forehead in real life with almost every other comment of theirs.

But let's not talk about their insanity and my brain damage, and instead talk about Spike's instincts which will make for a fascinating episode and it's great that we might actually meet other dragons, and that Pinkie Pie, despite her good intentions, was effectively a big bully for an entire episode.

I believe she mentioned that the design came about because the execs wanted the monsters to not look scary, so she decided to make a pretty sparkly dragon. She had some dopey, nonthreatening sketches of other monsters too.

They flipflopped. Asked her to make sure they weren't scary, then told her they didn't look threatening enough. Executive Meddling as usual.

Yeah, I can't imagine her sketch for the Ursa Major working well. That jaw is just way too big. Kind of glad about the meddling in this case.

Executive Meddling isn't always bad. Just most of the time.

I hate sleeping. I always wake up feeling like I've been tied up and beaten with baseball bats. And if I sleep more than 7 hours I'm exhausted for the rest of the day.
