I'd actually put money on Dragon Quest being a solo episode for Spike, with the mane cast only being present in the beginning and end. The Great Dragon Migration doesn't seem like something that ponies would be able to participate in.

As much as people rag on Pinkie's characterization, she's still ten times deeper as a character and any other "silly for the sake of silliness" characters on TV. This show just sets everyone's standards way higher than they are for other shows.

@Apple As compared to previous generations, FIM seems pretty hardcore. I mean, the Ursa Major. Has anyone calculated how big it is compared to Ponyville?

I watched the G1 pony show when I was a kid. I was so happy if that or Carebears was on. My favorite G1 pony was Firefly... Im pretty sure everyone liked Firefly though. In fact as soon as I get a duplicate blind bag pony pegasus figurine Im going to do a custom Firefly.

Im also going to do a Unicorn named "Glitterfart"... when I was looking for the toy "Flitterheart" I said the name out loud and my boyfriend misheard it as Glitterfart... so now I have to make one.

...*babbles to self to keep entertained .. only 30 minutes before I can go home*

Gen 3 maybe. From what I've heard, Gen 1 is much darker. They regularly deal with all sorts of monsters and villains out to destroy the world.

I'm really looking forward to Dragon Quest.

I do wonder how this migration is supposed to work given what we know about Dragon behavior. I assume this is going to be some sort of natural instinct that triggers this, I'll be surprised if it isn't.

Actually the synopsis makes it sound like a choice, though I can't for the life of me figure out why a bunch of Dragons would migrate.
