I wouldn't call myself enthused either. I liked the way Cranky was handled, but there were quite a few other problems. Better than I expected though. It's ultimately middle of the road for me.

Cranky was far and away the most awesome thing in this ep.

Oh, and Pinkie can paint a barn better than AJ... that's... something... I guess (struggles to keep from grinding my teeth)

Wait, backing out of the episode talk for a moment: Equestria Daily has just announced the synopsis for episode 21

(which sounds pretty cool). Here's the thing: This was episode 18. Iron Will is in episode 19. So... what's episode 20?

Also, It's occured to me that we have juuuuuust enough episodes left until the season finale for every main character to get an 'I Am' Song.

I wouldn't say she did it better - AJ was up a ladder in that scene, so she was still obviously working after Pinkie got started.

@ Ginger, other then the grey in her main iirc Lil'pip made note of how she appeared young, also, we never actually see what a more mature pony looks like, it's either normal body model, or the REALLY old Granny Smith/Mr Waddle model.

Phew, finished the latest episode. Surprisingly enjoyable Pinkie ep. Cranky was really a great character there. Pity about his hair though. But dear goodness I would've probably wanted to hit Pinkie there when she was just going through his stuff.

What's the worst that could happen anyways?

@ Kegi, it's the "time travel" Twilight Episode

@ ginger, we never see her do it BETTER, AJ was doing fine she was just bored, even neglecting Pinkie, any tedious chore like that will be better and more fun if a friend helps.

@Seraphem: That's basically how I looked at it. Painting a barn is a boring chore, so Pinkie decided to make it more interesting. Not sure how happy AJ will be about having Pinkie's face on there, though.

Who the heck says the Flim Flam Brothers song is too long?

Also, when the page is open to editing again, it's worth pointing out that it is an 'I Am' Song, not an Image Song.

And I'm not reading FE because of the ridiculous amounts of hype.

My issue with the Flim Flam song was it seemed to be drug out to long by needless repetition of the same verse, this one didn't start repeating till the very end where it was building up to the climax.

@ Ginger, those 30 extra seconds are just so long, apparently. Comparing to Find a Pet would be better, as it's even longer than Smile and is closer to the Flim Flam Brothers Song.
