@Kegi, true enough.... Though family was never my first thought when I saw them, I just assumed they were city officials of sorts. It was when I got a second look at the cutie mark of a hammer I realized what they probably were.

@Lurker no, nothing so extreme. Going in expecting to hate it was probably a good thing, since I was pleasantly surprised.

I wasn't really annoyed by Pinkie (well I was, but I wasn't fuming) but nor did I feel even the slightest shred of sympathy for her.

I just. didn't. care.

All the laughs I got out of this ep were from Cranky's REACTIONS to Pinkie, not Pinkie herself. Cranky is indeed awesome btw.

Smile, Smile, Smile still depresses me, because it describes the Pinkie I WANT to see all the time, rather than the one I get.
