@Flapjack Well, my choices are:
- bitch forever about something I haven't seen,
- Watch and be pleasantly surprised.
- Watch and bitch about something I HAVE seen.
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
The latter two are better of course.
I analyze "Geek Culture" here.
When All Else Fails, worry, that's the 14 way.
again just warning you, pinkie is extra super annoying, but she DOES get called out on it, it IS made very VERY clear that she is entirely in the wrong, at no point is Cranky EVER portrayed as unreasonable or a jerk, and she DOES finally get it though her head that someponies just don't like her usual antics.

Personally, I'd hate myself more if I DID like this episode, because then that would mean I've been a massive hypocritical tosser (moreso than I am already of course)

I'd call it a Lose/Win/"Meh, at least he knows what he's hating about" myself.
you will go to the paper towns and you will never come back
Ginger, refer back to our discussions about you reading FOE, changing your opinion after new information is learned is NOT Hypocrisy, and I have no idea what the American translation for "tosser" is.

Imagining Pip calling someone a wanker...lol.
@Ginger: I don't think you'll have any problem with the overall message of the episode; the issues are that Pinkie is annoying throughout (Even though she's obviously in the wrong), and that the ending is...well I think it kinda came out of freaking nowhere.
@Apple: I'm glad you approve. Pinkie not only huggable, also friendly enough to give hugs out :D I should like a hug from her :3
Actually It didn't come out of no where, I saw it coming half an episode away. It was very very contrived, but at least none of the contrivance relied on Pinkie being Pinkie, that bad of an ending could have work with any pony or even no pony there.

yeah soon as she read the book, I could tell by her face she saw something she recognized and given that not 15 minutes ago they showed us a female donkey we've never seen before...

Won't argue that point, yeah thing this was the most cliched part in the whole series that wasn't taken for laughs. but overall, great episode

eh lets stop obsessing over the one bad part and get back to the good. When Pinkie started singing the Cranky Doodle song, my jaw hit the floor, YESYESYESYESYES!!!
