My family's of Irish descent, so I love most Irish accents.

@Ginger: Rarity doesn't have her parents' accent either, not even when she drops her affectation. Accent doesn't seem to be a regional thing, but more of a matter of personal taste. XD

@Ginger, like I said, Welsh accent has grown on me recently. I didn't like it at first (seriously, how does anyone understand you?) but now I think it's pretty cool.

I've lived in New England all my life, and I've never heard anyone who sounds like Rarity.

What I thought it sounded like, I don't live way up there....

I live in South Florida, meng. Surplus of heavily mangled english laced with "threes" sounding like "trees" and the rapid spanish of a Cuban muchacho.

....God, I hate the Cuban accent.

@Ginger, Sweetie probably doesn't have their accent because she was raised in a community with a more neutral accent while Rarity's parents are natives of the old country.

@Mousa I honestly can't tell that anyone I know has an accent.

If my experience with Gwen on Torchwood is any indication of what you people sound like, it's no surprise No one in NY understood you. I was raised around English people for years and Welsh was a completely new experience for me that I could barely understand recently.
