Suited For Success changed EVERYONES'S mind about her.
Actually, it was
Green Isn't Your Color that did it for me.

you will go to the paper towns and you will never come back
It lets us finally see her good points which I didn't realise existed before then.
Clock is ticking!
I mean, I get what she learned, but I assumed all that about her anyway. From the very beginning. She wouldn't be a member of the mane cast if she wasn't a good person.
I didn't need to SEE that she was a good person. because I knew she must've been

Dashie is quite mean at times, yeah. Her loyalty is pretty subtle but clear (Like making sure Fluttershy was ahead of her in the Cider queue even though she ended up not getting any!), and she's also the one who connects closest to Pinkie :3 (As seen in their interactions in Griffon the Brush-off and Party of One). It helps that she has seriously adorable gestures and fangirls a lot :3 While she can be impatient and pretty tactless, she is also one of Fluttershy's closest friends apart from Rarity.
Y'know, maybe this stems from my ability to easily forgive villains.
I KNEW from the very beginning that Rarity was a good person. She HAD to be, she wouldn't have been given the element of generosity otherwise. KNOWING that there's good in someone makes it much easier to ignore their flaws I believe. So I never had the problem of thinking that Rarity or RD was a massive jerk.
On the other hand, because of that, I wasn't surprised by her behaviour in Suited for Success in the slightest. It was confirming what I already knew.

Did anyone else other than me think the Ghastly Gorge thing was no big deal, if Dashie was leading it anyway?

Hey Storyyeller, do you know who many topers their roughly are active on the forums, and how many on this thread?
Gay, Autistic, Nerd, Gamer, Gleek, Brony, Writer, Fan, Mad Man.
I am in fact awesome.
There was also her antics during Nightmare Night...stuff like that annoys the hell out of me.

What should she have done then? Just abandon Applejack?

Well, if they
did go back for the two, they would have completely lost Applejack.
And if you mean afterwards when they went home, it's kind of
four ponies' fault for forgetting who got left behind.

I felt sorry for Rarity. No one deserves to be left alone with
her.

^^ Not even Pinkie's hypothetical future hubby? It would be kind of awkward to have someone else in the room when you're doin' it. (Unless you're into that sort of thing.)
