I'd MUCH rather a villain die than go through Villain Decay

I like it when a character can be either a low level villian or a occasional ally.

...Ok, after looking into it some more, what happened that lead to the Villain Decay, which I'm pretty sure lead to the Deconstruction, and not the other way around, was that Hergé was doing sketches of them for the next book, in which the villains who were appearing were originally supposed to be menacing and threatening, but the outfit Hergé had put the main villain in just looked ridiculous. Apparently, Hergé took one glance at his sketches, and found himself unable to see his villains as a serious threat ever again, so they weren't.

It was one of the later books, and Hergé got really experimental in his later books, such as one in which he tried to keep suspense up in a story where nothing really happened, and succeeded...

I like those sort of villains. Mostly incompetent, but still pretty likeable.

Mainly Doofenschmirtz and the Ice King. Even if the Ice King's that way for insanely dark and depressing reasons.

Yeah those kinds.

They're usually a great source of humour.

I love for FIM to introduce a sixth ranger character who embodies all the opposites of the elements, and is either an antagonist or an alley depending on the situation.

Who also hates the sugarbowl world of Equestria and is a hilariously snarky wise cracker.

Maybe voiced by Grey DeLisle...

You give me the mental picture of a pony who bears the (Postive!) Elements of Chaos, who occasionally find themselves at odds with the Mane Six, but when stuff gets serious they will team up because they are ultimately on the same side even though they don't get along too well.

@Ginger: You sure are pretty nitpicky about your villains. I'm actually curious as to what you think about the different incarnations of Doctor "Eggman" Robotnik. (Funnily enough, there's a fanfic that depicts him giving up after a long and failure-filled life trying to defeat Sonic, and the world he ends up retiring to is Equestria.)

@Ginger: Well, you seem to rate your preference for villains far more seriously than I do. Personally speaking, good villains are hard to find these days, worthy opponents though they are. Eggman, for all his silly stuff, is actually quite a tough adversary even though he "fights fair" sometimes.

@Apple: Positive Elements of Chaos? Hmmm. Life, Change, Passion, Creativity, Surprise, and Cunning? The Chaos Emeralds themselves seem to be usable as a positive force of Chaos as well.

• Mio - Thanks for further information on electricity. The more episodes I view the less likely I see emphasis on 'water power'. For example, the dame in "The Mysterious Mare Do Well" but nothing else on a smaller scale, like a watermill. Unless I missed an episode (likely case).

• Robbie Rotten - lol I like spoofs it gives another view of a series in comparison to the fanatic side of the fandom (also a break from the memes). I'm pretty sure the guys who work on MADTV are about the same age as the male bronies pfft. And also they post production and episode progress on YouTube, so they are interactive with MAD viewers.
  I find it dopey when a fandom believes a series they watch is above parodying.

• Crowfall - This makes me wonder if they should just bring back the 'mirror' that makes baby versions of adult ponies . The parents of Twilight, Pinkie, and Rarity were seen; I would like to see the others, just for some sense of balance. Can you imagine Rainbow Dash's dad?
  Maybe the Season 3 team can make something up... and then never bring it up again.

@Ace I love Eggman. Eggman is a great villain. He can actually be intelligent when he wants to be. (like at the beginning of Unleashed)

@Ginger: Also when he tricks Tails into revealing a plot to use a synthetic Chaos Emerald to overload the Eclipse Cannon, then nearly kills Sonic if not for Chaos Control. The only constant is that Sonic is simply too effective at wrecking the Eggman, unfortunately for the Doctor, even though he gets some victories from time to time (Like being able to get 6 of the 7 Emeralds to power up Chaos in Adventure, actually getting to activate the Eclipse Cannon in Adventure 2, actually kidnapping all of Sonic's little critter friends and sticking them into Badniks and E-Series mecha.) Seriously, he's my favourite villain even moreso than Dr Albert Wily, if only because he has done more creative things than send out Robot Masters 8 at a time.

I'm looking forward to the new toyline this fall :3 more ponies for us to enjoy.

Instead of Surprise, I would have Laughter be both an Element of Harmony and Chaos. Let Pinkie Pie try to be on both sides, since she would be the one who would ignore their chaotic nature and try to be friends anyway.
