hmmm given your love of great and intelligent villains ginger, have you read
Order of the Stick?
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
@Seraph, I'm not a reader of webcomics. They never take themselves seriously enough for my tastes.
Even Homestuck is pushing it

Then you haven't read the right ones. Stick can get very very serious, while still being hilarious. And like I said it's full of your types of villains. Though yeah the early strips were just gag a day jokes, by the second book it started going through
Cerebus Syndrome and has been getting even better since.

Also, I like things that actually fucking END!!
Webcomics NEVER... STOP.
Same reason I don't read normal comics

Order does have an end point mapped out, we're just still a book or two away from it.
and some of them do end, like
8-Bit Theater

Fine then! There's just something about the style of webcomics that doesn't appeal to me.

Another 500 posts down, another 900 posts appear. Sigh.
Then you should read faster.
As far as
Order of the Stick goes, it definitely has smart and effective villians.
And Nale.

If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
I am mostly curious to what everyone is doing
Trying to find something that meets Ginger's increasingly arbitrary tastes.

Look, I find it INCREDIBLY hard to read over the internet. OK!!
I always have. It's why I wait for manga to come out in print form rather than reading it online, it's why I don't read fanfics.
I just can't stay focused or interested

@Ginger: It's like I'm looking through a polarity inversion - I love the Internet as a boundless portal to more reading. Mind you, books are still superior in many ways, but the Internet means I always have something to read, whether it's tech reviews or nerdraging on Ars Technica or tropes to wade through and edit or threads to post in like this one or even bad fanfics to laugh at.
@Ginger: You'd like Order of the Stick, I think - Xykon is a
badass, and he's a clever, dangerous and entirely amoral jerkwad. If you're a Dungeons and Dragons fan, you definitely would.
Best part is, the books are available to buy online, too.
Can you think inside the chimney?
The internet is FAR too distracting for me to focus on any kind of substantial reading.
Yeah thanks for making me feel better, Ace!
I'm like the ONLY person (here) who has this fucking problem

There have been 31, 513 posts since Jan 3rd, 11:05AM (6 weeks ago), so you need to read 750 posts a day just to stay in place. If you ever want to catch up, you should be reading at least 1000.
