There really is no Word Of God on how electricity works or if it exist. From what I could tell Faust really didn't want electricity in the show, but for some of the objects they had to have she just assumed that they were enchanted.

Another thing I noticed is that she seemed to want to keep Fi M rooted in a fantasy setting as much as possible (remember that she actually did not want to have a train in Over a Barrel), but it seems that the current writing staff are far less picky.

I imagine that Bravado works for a Shadowy organization of some kind that Daring always trys to get him to spill on, but he plays coy. Maybe it could be in opposition to the Nazi!Ponies?

@Tyler: I'm surprisingly in-line with you on most of your opinions. The only thing I predict causing strife between us, really, is that I'm (almost) entirely fine with R34 and am, in fact, in the middle of writing my third (humanized, of course) smut fic.
