I always find it weird when certain ponies are named after coversational terms that still exist in their universe.

I like that idea. Like she (he?) started out anonymous but eventually came out with it and admitted to have written the books after seeing how popular they became.

Yeah, for the record, I also like having a concrete author; makes adding author-related tropes easier. I also like the idea of capping the series at 16 books, because otherwise it'll just keep ballooning and get out of hand. It can be an ongoing series In-Universe but only 16 books are currently out.

However, we might be able to keep the 17th volume in the article as the rumored name for an upcoming book.
