Personally, I think it'd be cool if this series were just something written by a mare while she was in university. She has no reason to continue the series now. She's gone on to do other things
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
ok I'm thinking we cap the young foals series at say 5. And call them something like the "young adventures of Daring Do", just like The Young Adventures of Indiana Jones with them taking place before the series proper (with the exception of the seaponies prequel.)

Why you against it, Bad?
I have no strong feelings towards the idea one way or another btw

^Heh. I can imagine Rarity and Applejack getting into arguments over the number of people who side with each of them as bigger in the cup size arguments, yeah.
Can you think inside the chimney?
Personally, I'm in favor of having a real author too. Maybe we could compromise with a
Lemony Snicket type situation.
It's pronounced "Te-ah-low-ve"

God, I love Occam's Razor
I don't mind either way. I don't think the hidden manuscript thing adds anything in particular

So random thought I had.
What would you do if you ended up in Equestria, but the ponies all talked like real ponies instead of using English?

Well if we have a real author, what should she be named? I suggest Purple Prose.

That's the time someone calls the mods and they nuke the thread for being too offtopic. It'll happen at 99999 posts and the mod will get post 100000.

meh personally I prefer the mysterious author, but that's cause I want the author to secretly be Princess Celestia.

Well I just think that Purple Prose sounds like a typical pony name.
It's pronounced "Te-ah-low-ve"
Seraphem, if I were to somehow end up in Equestria and ponies conversed in whinnies and such, I suppose I'd observe their body language and try eventually to find some common grounds for communication. Or else resign myself to life as a hermit and an oddity. I'd then probably lose my mind for lack of someone with which to hold an intelligent conversation in the latter case.
