So doing a bit of research on the term Derring-do... and I see that its an old English term meaning reckless courage or something along those lines. Actually a contraction of "Daring to Do"

There are multiple spellings for the term such as Durring-don, Dorryng-do, Derrynge-do... etc.

Durring-don sounds like he could be related to Derpy :P

Meanwhile...

Remember, the series becoming Darker and Edgier was supposed to be a bad move on the creator's part. and she made it Lighter and Softer again after recieving backlash. That synopsis sounds too dark.

The leaked episode is actually different from the broadcast one.

I can answer this one! Sikon is a former op from the old #tropers channel. She has no sense of humor whatsoever and tried to enforce that on people, so her op powers got stripped and she sulked off into another vaguely tvtropes related channel channel. That'd explain the situation on the discussion page, right? Both how she found it and why she's protesting?

Mostly, it gives us something to talk about while we wait for the episode. We normally speculate on that in build up to the premier, but we can't really do that this time given the leak
