One second, what's my quirk besides the fractured personalities?

I kinda hope he turns out to be her dad. Not hoping that he decides to do it himself, or that he's disappointed - I kinda want Fluttershy to go to him, or something. Maybe something gives her a reason to... or maybe she thinks she's a disappointment, and wants to make him proud? Kind of heavy for a kids show, but I think the moral of 'your parents love you unconditionally, no matter what you're like' is one worth showing.
"Well Done, Daughter" Girl? tongue (edit: Huh, didn't know that was an actual redirect...)

Seriously speaking, though, even though it's been done many times over, I love a plot line that ends with the parent(s) declaring that they've always been proud of their child, because he or she has some remarkable quality to them that sometimes they don't even realize.

@Mousa You're kinda getting greedy if you don't accept having a FRACTURED personality as your quirk [lol]

I don't think Iron Will is going to be related to Fluttershy. That fact probably would have been included in the synopsis.

@Mousa: Your the thread's resident artist. Also you enjoy indulging in random character bashing when the opportunity presents itself.

Iron Will is actually Tank's father. He'll just sit and blink slowly at Fluttershy until she becomes super tough and aggressive.

Good point, Iron Will could be a drifter, mayhaps an emissary from Canterlot.

Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! What if he's a park ranger of sorts, a pony Steve Irwin even!

But Kegi, Kuroi, and Ace are also pony artists, unless I have "more often" going for me.

@bluespade, you get what Mio's got only not funny.

If he's a pony Steve Irwin, than he'll be shipped with Fluttershy endlessly.

I expect Flutter/Iron Will shipping nonetheless, but that's just me expecting the fandom to ship any two characters that have spoken to each other (which, as we know, is way more than needed for the Shipping Goggles to take effect).

Iron Will might have been from Flight School or something. Perhaps he used to an instructor for Dashie or Fluttershy?

I find it hard to believe anyone could qualify as the straight man in this thread.

Also, pastel pony party poppers.

then again... it probably is, isn't it?

Out of curiosity: How many antagonists have been male thus far compared to female ones?

It would make sense if Iron Will was pony Steve Irwin, it's the perfect reason why some strong and aggressive newcomer would associate with her: a love of animals! Maybe he publishes a series of books based on his adventures: Dragon Hunter

Jim try to be a straight man but really I just straddle the line, I'm not as serious as Mio and Bluespade but not as nutshell as Applelight or Ginger. I'm probably in some sort of Kegisak category.

In a town that's 90% female, it's hard to have male antagonists or male anything really.

@Red: I wouldn't count Blueblood as a villain, or even an antagonist.
