Yeah, I love how the new one doesn't forget the characters are ponies unless it's funny. Like how they give applause by by stomping the ground with their front hooves, or typically manipulate objects with their teeth. I mean, yeah, Twilight occasionally claps her hooves, but that's one of those cases where it's funny.

Well ain't there one damn song that can make me break down and cry?

How stupid was G3? Was it full of strawmen, or did all the girls just talk about boys and clothing? Give us a idea, at least.

Admitting that I've only watched a small sample of G3 overall...

Characters giggling every other second in lieu of decent dialog or character. Extremely simplistic and bland plots (really, if a pony leaves a set of kindergarten-grade riddles for the other ponies to find her on a lark, does it warrant an episode, even a short one?). And the whole thing really, really Tastes Like Diabetes.

I'd say it was aimed at kindergarteners, but I've seen better shows made for that age group.

So, as you guys may or may not know, Hub recently uploaded Pinkie Pie's No Fear Song without background music.

Recently, someone managed to do the same with Winter Wrap Up.

This show really has some top notch singing.

Also, I plunked the tunes on the piano, and I found both Pinkie's No Fear song and Winter Wrap-Up both seem to be in D Major.

This show really has some top notch singing.

Ironic that the series doesn't have very many musical numbers to let that musical talent shine. I'm actually kind of hoping for a sort of musical episode.

Also, I never would have guessed Rebecca Shoichet's voice was so prominent during that song.
