Actually, I liked that. It was bizarre, yeah, but pretty well done.

^^I would have figured that, were it not for my assumption that the season's production had mostly wrapped up by the time that meme came about.
Am I wrong?

"I'm not sure what the point of the second one is. Why shouldn't they face away when exiting a scene?"
It was explained to me in theater class, but I can't remember the exact reasoning. But it applies to all actors - live, filmed or animated; never turn so that your backside is facing the audience, always switch directions facing forward.
Because "for the lulz" is a perfectly good reason to do something.

It's a case of rule of observation, I think? The face is the most important thing on a character, so the audience needs to see it - unless it's important that they don't.
Pretty sure that's the case. You want to maintain the connection between the character on the audience, and keeping the character facing the audience is a way of maintaining that connection.

GAH I CAN'T FIGURE OUT A CUTIE MARK FOR MY WILD WEST OC! I was thinking railroad tracks at first (he basically just wanders Equestria) but I thought it would look stupid...Anyone got ideas?

Lasso. Hat. Agave. Tumbleweed. Spurs.

Hm...A cutie mark for a wanderer?
A fistful of dollars? Dunno. Hoofprints, maybe?

Why did the inclusion of "it is ON!" make me laugh?

x2 Yeah, I was thinking that...I've put in a compass rose, so that's also a possibility... Or a tumbleweed. But that's almost as stupid as a spoon or a safety pin. No offense, blueharp.

Wonder what the last one entails.

Why do you think he has to wander so much??

The tumblweed doesn't sound like a bad one. It's symbolic - it goes wherever the wind takes it.
