Ginger: That's some seriously traumatic stuff that would take a long time to get over. Plus since it's a story, typically just the most dramatic stuff will be shown, so yea, maybe there's some moments where they're not thinking about it, but it's unlikely the author will think it relevant.

@AHR: I don't see what the issue with the hobbit logic is; all it's saying is that the fact that hobbits are basically miniature people is analogous to the fact that ponies are small horses. I don't think that gender was really much of a factor in the idea.

I think AHR meant horses when he said stallions. As in Hobbits=Ponies Humans=Horses, so Humans would watch horses, and ponies would watch hobbits.

Stallion can apply to ponies and horses, so it was bad term to use there.

We figured it as a combo of the Mane 6 being very self effacing about it and trying to not stay in the spot light about that stuff, and the Canterlot elite being just that out of touch and self absorbed.

Oh yeah, Arha, after "Secret of My Excess" you can choose whether to watch the next three episodes in order or Out Of Order.

See, the official numbering (used by Hasbro and The Hub) is:

"Secret of My Excess"
"Family Appreciation Day"
"Baby Cakes"
"Hearth's Warming Eve"
"The Last Roundup"

But the order they premiered in (so that the Christmas Episode would air before Christmas) is:

"Secret of My Excess"
"Hearth's Warming Eve"
"Family Appreciation Day"
"Baby Cakes"
"The Last Roundup"

I personally prefer production order over broadcast order, but it really doesn't matter what order those three episodes are watched in.
