[up][up][up][up][up][up] That second one is based off a picture with Ash and Snorlax, I think. Or at least I've seen a similar picture.

@Badwolfwho: You don't have to include ALL of them as scenarios in a single fic. Unless you want to.......

I also sent you a PM of the one you could not see.

The luna one? Maybe.

Spoilers so I don't 'infect' anyone who wants to participate. Honestly though, combining the lot of them would make for something really interesting. From the second picture I get a very baroque, old-timey circus of mystery sort of feeling... and the subtly disturbing nature of all of them sort of give an almost lovecraftian descent into madness feeling. A circus comes to town, and the ringmaster is an immortal Eldritch Abomination who feeds on fear and despair, so he perpetuates it through illusions? Trixie finds a book that gives her illusions a boost but they run wild? Twilight gouges out her eye to dispel them (The right eye sees the world before our eyes, and the left eye sees the world behind it), and it allows her to think clearly enough to figure out what's going on - meanwhile, the rest of the cast slowly slips away into madness, mutilating themselves or other such things in accordance with what the illusions show?

Something deeply twisted, deeply psychological... I like it!

So, how are fans generally taking Season 2? I just noticed that the dethroning moments was freaking huge and mostly based around S2. Is it really so bad? I'm loving it.

[up][up][up] Ah, ok. I have no anime reference pool whatsoever.

[up][up] It's not bad, just more polarizing. A lot more Love It or Hate It stuff.

@kegisak: DANG. I usually can only think up separate stories from only one each!

To further add to it, Applejack would be the only one not affected by all the mind warping illusions due to both her honest nature and being the Element of Honesty. Apple Bloom has the most resistance, but is not ENTIRELY immune.

Finally, add this to the list.

Just about every season 2 episode has a very vocal, but very small hatedom. Overall reaction to the episodes tends to be overwhelmingly positive.

I find S2 better and I've only seen ten episodes so far.

So, anyway, if dragons only grow large and powerful when their greed grows out of bounds, wouldn't that indicate that that will never happen for Spike unless he stops being, well, Spike? I also found it a little odd that his intelligence seemed to go downhill since both of the dragons we saw before, not counting Discord, were at least capable of speech.

Anyway, a better episode than the two that came before it.

[up] The thing I find fascinating is that if Spike never had a greed attack, he could be hundreds of years old and the same size.
Cheers, mate.

[up][up][up][up][up] Unless dragons have two methods of ageing. A greed induced one that promotes quick growth for emergencies but doesn't make a fully mature dragon and a natural growth that will allow the dragon to fully mature with wings and appropriate intelligence.

@ Kegi: Yours is way better than mine. I was just going with some sort of possession induced madness.

I hear dudes saying that his intelligence went down the drain, but come on. At full size he figured out how to capture the Wonderbolts and there was this gesture which name escapes me.

He didn't seem to properly recognize people, he was using hulk speak when in his teenage form and never spoke as an adult. Those are indications that his intelligence declined.

Also yeah, those pictures. What? I mean, that kind of art is fine and ponies are fine, but they don't go well together.

Pretty much all the S2 episodes except...that one...are pretty much universally loved, yes every one of them has a small segment that find something wrong with it they can't stand, but on the whole only one of them is seen as sub-par.

[up][up][up][up]That artist is actually pretty famous for that kind of stuff, especially after that fucking blog.

[up]Actually you have. It was the one titled The Mysterious Mare Do Well. It has been know to cause quite a few flame wars in the fandom.
