Maybe it's like their equivalent of an organ donor card or something.

Well i haven't see one grave in Ponyville so maybe it's just their culture to use every part of the pony when they die.
7 friends, a robot, and a spirit, will find a way to protect us...if it kills them.
Maybe they bury everyone in the Everfree Forest.
It's pronounced "Te-ah-low-ve"

Equestria is some form of heaven. Ponies' lives may be put
in danger once in a while, just to shake things up, but nobody really
dies.
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...
So everyone is already dead?
Because "for the lulz" is a perfectly good reason to do something.
No, silly, they're alive! Forever!
Foreeeverrr...
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...
Well why is Granny Smith so old then? That doesn't seem very fair. Unless the lord of this heaven has deemed that eternity is either A) too boring for the ponies, B) break the illusion of danger, and thus heaven as a whole, or C) leads to a few arrogant ponies and just sets them to grow, die, and reincarnate regularly.
Maybe she
likes being an old granny. Look, she has three grandkids that love her so very much. Do you want to take that away from her?
Do you?

I dunno i kinda like my idea, it just seems to fit, they personally manage the seasons, weather, and their town is run by teenagers, the idea that even death won't stop you being useful seems fitting.

The mayor isn't a teenager.
Because "for the lulz" is a perfectly good reason to do something.
but the Mayor doesn't run every buisness, and teenagers make up most of the business owners

The only teenager we see running a business is Rarity, the rest of the mane cast is working for somepony else, and even then the ages are intentionally vague. We've got Mr. and Mrs. Cake, Mr. Breezy, and Mr. Quills and Sofas running their own shops, and they're presumably older.
Do we even know that the main six are teenagers?
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...
I tend to assume they're adults, but it's weird thinking of Twilight as an adult, for some reason.
For some reason I always thought of Twilight as a college student, so I imagine her as a very young adult.

OBVIOUSLY Rarity is a time lord

Speaking of ponies, i can easily justify the Mane 6, beingthe Elements of harmony, going out to find the cause of a corruption turning Celestia Fearing Ponies into monsters but can you see any other ponies doing that?
