@Kegisak: I'm pretty sure that musical is what the Simpsons episode was referencing. Of course now the Simpsons episode is probably better known than the musical.
Well, the Skype livechat was a success! If you guys are up for another next week (not counting the one at noon for the reruns), I might try and use Vent when that happens.
Also, did Ginger like the episode?
You read it. You read it and you read it. And I want you to read it.
@Pannic I get it, Pannic. i'm a fucking stupid uncultured retard, you don't have to rub it in so meanly!!

Now I remember that episode.
They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.
@Ginger: All he's doing is pointing out what appears to be a common misconception about the song. No need to take it personally.
Oh come on Ginger, how many people would have gotten that? I only know of it because Pannic showed the original song anyways.
I don't know. He just seemed to be sounding VERY bitter, and his post was DIRECTLY under mine

I CANNAE HELP IT. I HAD TO STAY LATE FOR DINNER.
Spooky.
I also love how they dance around the issue of whether or not the Cider was alcoholic.
Unless I missed something, I'm not familiar with the process

I'd guess that it isn't, given that they didn't give it any time to ferment, although given how much the ponies screw around with the natural order they could totally have some means of instantly fermenting it.
Cider in the US traditionally isn't alcoholic. I'm pretty sure fresh picked apples aren't fermented in any case.
They didn't do... anything to it, really. They just ground the apples down. It's pretty much apple juice, they didn't even have time to add the spices and what not.
Yeah. The process can't involve alchohol as I see it.
