I watched some of the G1 pony stories when I was younger, and then more recently watched the G3 stories (the three movies) after those came out (not sure quite when that was, but it was probably during college). Unlike many people who are "bronies, " I still like the G3 stories, probably because I have an abnormally high tolerance (and liking) for things that other people think Tastes Like Diabetes. I definitely like G4 the best, though. Oddly enough, I didn't see several of the G1 stories until I got the DVD set more recently.

But yeah, talk about unpopular opinions, being a G4 pony fan who actually LIKES the G3 stories is definitely unusual.
