[up] Upper Crust. (I love that name)

Do the Windigos count as villains?

Well, I've always saw them as Equestria's version of The Others, so I guess so?
Spooky.

Keg, which version of Dark City did you see, the theatrical or the Director's Cut? Also one reason the aliens in your dream used the term blank checks is the general ubiquitousness of the term itself and how it is used to represent limitless possibility.

EDIT: Oh, the rejects were blank checks. that is rather strange.

It's kind of a stretch to call Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon and the Cloudsdale jocks villains. Bullies, yes.

[up]yeah, and the windigoes are more forces of nature than anything else, hence why I consider the last time we had a villain that ordinary people would have a chance of beating to be the Diamond Dogs.

Probably. I'd actually be surprised if they didn't go the "brute & his cunning boss" route. Though I suppose they could both be sly trickster types.

I watched the directors cut. I read a bit about it (though without any spoilers) before downloading the movie, and I didn't feel like being insulted so I made sure to find the directors cut.

I think the reason why the rejected bodies might have been called blank checks is because, without a consciousness written to them, they were empty shells that anyone could go into. So in that case it might be a matter of open possibilities - anything could be written onto it. The weird thing was, a blank check didn't always leave behind a complete body. In the case where Caramel got a blank check there wasn't any body produced at all. Not even an incomplete one. He just rejected the process outright.

Good work on watching the director's cut. I remember going to se the theatrical release and basically going , "oh" when the voiceover at the beginning gave away the twist. But to it's credit, The movie is one of the few sci-fi movies my dad will actually watch.

I'm picturing the Flim Flams to be like fast-talking used car salesmen. You know, the ones with the plaid sports jackets and loud ties. Either that, or they'll be hayseeds.

We'll know tomorrow. waii
