I think all humanised E Ps are 'big boned' anyway (in contrast to the slim tall figures of Pegasi). And yes...Pinkie is fit and healthy...but a little cake indudged plumpness makes sense.

Because I don't like her and I think her hype is misplaced. If she was more interesting and had a reason for all the hype, I wouldn't have a problem with her fanbase.

@Chariot: First, no d in pigeon. Second, why would Doctor Whooves be popular without the coincidence that made him popular still be popular, but Derpy without the mistake that made her popular not be popular. I am using the two of them because they are both popular because of an unintentional aspect of their appearance, which was the only reason they became popular.

Because the Earth Ponies are clearly the physical laborers and Applejack and Big Macontish have demonstrated bouts of super strength, it makes sense for the Earth ponies to bigger built

@Chariot: The reason Derpy is so popular and considered a "mascot" of sorts is because the fans basically created her themselves. She's our character. She represents the fanbase because she wouldn't exist without them. The reason everyone got so worked up about her appearance in "The Last Roundup" is because it gives the fandom a sense of validation. We contributed something to show; we interacted with it. The writers took a character we created and incorporated it into the show. I can fully understand if you don't see the appeal in the characterization, but there's a very good reason that Derpy is considered the foremost fan character.

As far as the synopsis goes, I'm curious about what source it's from. All of the longer, detailed synopses so far have been less than accurate, so I'm hesitant to take this at face value. And I'm not sure if I'm changing my bet either; it wouldn't surprise me if the Love Potion wears off, but Big Mac and Cheerilee end up as a couple anyway.

They already got a divorce. It was never meant to last, and they are better off separate anyway.
