Honestly, the scene in "Baby Cakes" where Pinkie loses the twins is probably the scene that creeped me out the most, mainly because it's a realistic fear. Stuff like Discord doesn't really scare me because it's so fanciful. But something like what happened to Pinkie is something that could actually happen, which makes it worse.

Did she single-hoofedly destroy it? At that point Applejack had already agreed to give her prize money to fix the thing, so it had to have been in bad shape for some time. Not saying she didn't add to the damage, but if you can knock over a support column by bumping into it, then that's a piss poor support column.

Also interesting that suddenly they need prize money to fix up the town. They didn't have a problem after the parasprites. Maybe the mayor is just getting cheap.

Clearly the town hall hasnt had a proper renovation. It'd be easier to demolish and rebuild good as new.

I mean, Ursa Minor, Parasprites, Spike going King Kong, all the disasters in MMDW...the town gets wrecked on a regular basis.

By the way, the whole government infrastructure thing reminds me of something I thought of.

In Progress, Luna works on creating new government programs and stuff to improve the infrastructure, right? But there's actually been a noticeable amount of new development in the show. For example, the train to Canterlot appears to have been built within the last year, and there was a new construction site in MMDW. And the dam is probably new too. This is now my Head Fanon

Re disappearing babies. Yeah, that scene freaked me out. Years ago, my mom was babysitting my toddler nephew and he disappeared like that. We found him in the corral after he'd been kicked in the head by a horse. He was all right and now he has a sweet scar to show for it, but I don't think any of us were ever as scared in our lives as we were then.
