If you watch it backwards, it's about a magic shark that fixes a guy's boat and vomits up so many people they need to open up a beach.

Ponify doom? That would be... Great :).

Okay, so there IS a MLP/Doom crossover, and it's called Crunch Berry Bloom, for some bizarre reason. Here it is.
Also, according to the description (and the title; I'm so dense ), this is also a crossover with Sonic, Family Ties, AND Captain Crunch.
...what

I've been pushing for getting the DMOS page for ponies deleted, but I've thought about it, and that would mean that the the entire DMOS page would need to be deleted too.
But then again, do we really need a DMOS page? Sure some complaints for some shows are legitimate, but the FIM subpage and a few others really showcase Fan Dumb at its worst.

Does anything need a DMOS page?

I had always assumed that DMOS was supposed to be a repository for Fan Dumb. I personally think deleting it might cause more problems, such as "how come X series has a DMOS page but MLP:Fi M doesn't and X series is WAY better".
#77935CookooMon, 23rd Jan '12 2:11:10 PMfrom A cuckoo clock
I thimk the problem with DMOS is that people think that everything on the page is some saying this ruins the show forever, when it could simply be a minor anoyance for that person instead.

Excuse me if this kinda seems whiny/complainy but:
5 things I dislike about Bronydom
5. Clopfics.
4. Human-form ponies.
3. "Realistic Pony" pics.
2. Being confused because you don't know who Berry Punch, Colgate etc. are.
1. Applejack finally getting a focus episode and all anybody cares about is Derpy.
Just thought I'd say that.
Ginger, you're an Applejack fan. Doesn't it bother you as well, that Applejack finally gets a moment to shine and yet to most of the world, the episode was basically "OMG DERPY!!! and some other stuff"?
#77937Perpetual LurkerMon, 23rd Jan '12 2:12:11 PM
Yeah, as long as you ignore the DMOS page, most of the stupid gets left there and doesn't bother everyone else. Strictly negative YMMV material will always exist, so you might as well tuck it away somewhere where you don't see it if you don't want to.

I dunno, I think most of the DMOS for Ponies is pretty reasonable, even though I don't agree with most of it.
Yyyeah. I don't think the fact that the first Applejack episode since Applebuck Season was completely subverted by an Ascended Meme is lost on anyone.-_-

If it's a minor annoyance it goes on the "It Just Bugs Me" page.
#77941Count DorkuMon, 23rd Jan '12 2:17:28 PMfrom Teh Interwebz
Good grief, don't set him off!
+ They include "Derpy has the wrong voice" and "there's a tiny plot hole that's easy to handwave in Hearth's Warming Eve". If DMOS is to have a meaning at all, it has to have one beyond "this irked me slightly". Either that, or some people have really bad senses of proportion.

...what do I dislike about the pony fandom...
The people, definitely.
Well, hopefully the next episode will fix that up. Assuming it actually does choose to focus on her, as opposed to say, the CMC's attempts to sabotage the Flim Flam brothers or some such nonsense. How much detail does the official synopsis go into, come to think of it?
I'm sort of with you on that one. I'll be honest, for all the talk I don't see this fandom as being any better than any other, now. It's still chalk full of idiots, perverts, and entitled jerks. The concentrations of good fans tend to be kept to a few hotspots that are easy to find, at least.

Same here. I mean, some of 'em are decent but others I wish hadn't learned how to type in the first place.
I say this now because I doubt the opinions of an unreasonably grouchy sixteen-year old will have much impact on anyone here.
