I generally duck out of the thread when the sockpuppets come about.

Also, concerned that this latest fic I'm writing will fall into the "characters yammering around while the plot is nonexistent" trap that plagues nearly all of my writing.

I personally think Dash is Brilliant But Lazy. One of the characters in Sonic Rainboom said that Flight School had "too many rules and not enough nap times, " and Dash frequently dozes off. Maybe she just slept through the basic classes one too many times.

Again, RE: sockpuppetry, not in this thread, please. Personally, I find it quite irritating after the first couple of posts, and I don't want to have to holler to the mods when my patience wears thin.

Also, Derpy is going to be an "official" character, which might just mean that she'll be on storyboards instead of just a last-minute joke on the animator's part, Twilight will get a song, and also some stuff about recurring and new characters.
