Pinkie said something to the effect of "I heard an apology, so I'll let you off the hook for now, RARITY CATCH ME!" (that's not a transcript, just the gist of what she meant)

AJ found the loop hole of "I said I would explain at breakfast, but I never went to breakfast." Then said she was sorry for not being able to tell the girls what was wrong. Pinkie then said "well I heard a sorry in there" and jumped back.

the word bullet must have come from somewhere. Maybe Equestria evolved the same word to describe something different? (it still sounds like it's refering to something fast though)

I swear, all these words refer to something different but still sorta similar

It's one of those things, ya know. When you watch a show consistently for over a year, you build up ideas.

I remember once accidentally using gun terminology in a fanfic and having people point out how weird it sounded. Now I know how they feel.
