@AHR: I certainly don't disagree with most of what she said, but when she reacted to the suggestion that there be one or two male colts that weren't ~~dumb and dumber~~ Snips and Snails as though we were suggesting regressing the show to a 1950s cartoon...

She had some very good points, but it was impossible in my opinion to even discuss them with her without feeling like I had to apologize for my sex.

I think it was less that the show was supporting pedophilia, and more that the rest of the fandom didn't find the Spike/Rarity pairing as horrific as she did. But yeah, big rage quit.

And she made this enormous deal about how the bronies were trying to "steal" the show from the target demographic or something. I never understood what she meant; it was like she was pissed that the show appealed to men or something.

To be honest, this wasn't a blow out. To me. It more seemed like Boobus just sorta...left. For overly dramatic reasons, sure, but I was more surprised by how self perpetuating it was. Guess there was a lot of pent up stuff.

But I'm an asshole, so I could be wrong.
