@L Mage: For me, I just dislike the fangirl-magnet angsty sparkly vampires. The Scarlet Sisters might be sparkly, but they have the excuse of basically being little girls, and Flandre has legitimate reason to be mopey if she wanted to be. Castlevania!Dracula and Hellsing!Alucard are infinitely superior to that nancy-boy who was clearly trying to be like Anne Rice's immortal angsty vampires.

Would Rainbow Dash ever pick up Parkour? It'll greatly help in obstacle-laden areas. Or perhaps she already knows Parkour? After all, in a race between Sonic and Dashie, the blue Hedgehog would have the advantage of Parkour in more intensely-obstacle-laden courses. You'd be surprised how scary fast Modern Sonic is when you can Wall jump, then Boost over the gap and Dive-kick the floor, cancelling into a Boost and Quick-stepping around obstacles before running to a tree and using the natural curve as a quarter pipe, Boosting up into the air and onto a wall and then... Well, you know.

I'd reckon they'd love to challenge each other endlessly.

Well, Dashie's Ghastly Gorge run has shown she's pretty adept at whatever the flying equivalent of parkour would be. So I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to say she knows ground parkour as well. And if not, I bet she'd pick it up rather quickly.

@Ginger: Parkour's not a power. =) That's like calling a sprinter who can also do parkour overpowered.

When I use the term "overpowered" I don't always mean actual powers. I mean certain characters having more traits/skills than other characters that outbalances them

but I wasn't being overly serious when I said it. I was just being my usual overly bitter self

All the G4 ponies are overpowered, Ginger. The G3 ponies would be useless in a pseudo-apocalyptic crisis, and the G1 ponies have less overpowered individuals and are basically dependant on Flutterponies, Princesses, and the Sea ponies (Shoo bee doo~).

Hey, they can even eat human foods like chocolate and hot spices!

I actually would rather not have Rainbow Dash teaches Scootaloo to fly episode. To be honest the concept fills me with bad feelings.

@Ginger: Ah, I see. Well, given that all pegasi can take off vertically from a stand-still, parkour may not be on her list of necessary skills - why bother jumping from curb to trashcan to windowsill to rooftop when you can, in effect, jump to rooftop?

How could Dash finally openly accepting Scoots as a younger sister figure and Scoots learning how to fly end badly for them?

Regarding Bad crossover ideas: For some reason I keep thinking of a Dark Souls crossover. Which is utterly ridiculous. But if I knew how to draw, I'd draw my character as a pony in all her sweet armor.

Also, Twilight (the book, not the pony) is legitimately bad, but not nearly as bad as people say. It does actually have some decent ideas, they are just written very poorly. At least it's not as bad as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

I have good confidence in Applelight's abilities, because most of the exams I've taken aren't that hard unless they force you to do more than repeated memorized information. Yes, Art projects/tests can be a huge pain, as the other design students here can attest.

It's still handy to know just how to slingshot around columns and pillars, and exploit some of the landscape to bounce and vault and accelerate fast enough to Rainboom under the treeline.
