Sofas are kind of big and clunky to keep around.

Trust me on this. I do one day a week at an op shop, and they take saleable furniture. This generally leads to the back room being this huge pile of cupboards and sofas that we desperately try and flog off so we have space for the next set of donated tables and chairs.
