Scootaloo gets both extremes though, remember that Scooltalove is just as common as Scootabuse. It balances out.

That's the main reason Scootaloo is my favourite member of the CMC. And why I'm so fond of Scootalove

The short version are that they are 6 ponies who could embody the same elements as the Mane Six but are very different from their counterparts. Pinkie's is mute (mostly), Rainbow's is subdued etc. They're also all colts.

Hehe...Take a look at the Fanon Workshop if you want more info.

They are counterparts of the Mane Six, that answer to Luna rather then Celestia. But it goes a lot deeper then that.
