The pig song. I'm not a fan of Pinkie's taste in music anyway. I'm pretty sure it's meant to be bad on purpose though, as seen in Over A Barrel.

@Mio: Well I assumed after that point it just sort of skipped over her dealing with them the rest of the night. I thought that was basically her lowest point, and afterwords she picked herself up, got serious, and dealt with them properly. I guess there's not a lot of evidence for that though.

And Pinkie isn't a bad musician. She's very hit or miss, I'd say. "Giggle at the Ghostly, " "Cupcakes, " and "Smile Smile Smile" are all excellent songs.

Going back to me "flows of magic theory" from the workshop unicorns randomly tap into and draw on flows by instinct when their young and are unable to control the influx of power so it expresses itself as whatever they want carnaly at that moment, but they lack the ability to do this on demanded or to guarnte the same things happening twice. Latter when they get theri CM they "lock in" to flows that have to do with their special talent and thusly are able to better control their powers at will

@L Mage: Has there ever really been any evidence that a unicorn's magic has to do with their cutie Mark? We can't use Twilight as an example, since her talent is Magic, meaning the only real example we have is Rarity. So far Rarity has:

Done basic telekinesis (all unicorns seem capable of this, except for busboys).
Revealed hidden gems (cutie mark related).
Cast illusions during a fashion show (not cutie mark related).

I think we need more evidence.

I wouldn't say they're all good musicians. Twilight, Rainbow, and Rarity are great singers, the others not so much.

I treat this show like I treat Glee, everyone is assumed to have the talent to sing and play a musical intrument the moment they recive more then one line. No exceptions.

In "Boast Busters" Twilight clearly says the every unicorn has magic that has to do with their special talent.

I can't say that is the impression I got. It seemed more like the foals just said "ok we'll stop" in response to her breakdown. Even if she manged to clean up the mess I wouldn't say that she handled the situation, at least not well.

@Ginger: AJ is a decent singer. I liked her bit in Winter Wrap Up. But I don't think she compares to the other three I mentioned.

As for Rainbow, she makes up for a lack of technical ability with a unique voice and good attitude. Kinda like the difference between a classically trained singer and a rock singer. Although, now that I think of it, she wasn't very good in the pet song, so her record is kinda spotty too.

BTW, I know a lot of these characters share a voice actress, but I'm focusing on how the characters sound when they sing, not the actresses.
